1. n. a drunkard. (From moonshine.)
This old mooner from up in the hills wandered into town last Friday and died in the town square.
There must be dozens of mooners who beg in town in the day and drink in the woods at night.
2. n. an idler who stares at the moon.
If he ever outgrows being a mooner, he may be all right.
I feel like a mooner tonight. There is nothing better to do.
